What is Wona?

Wona is a social networking platform based around film recommendations. At Wona, our goal is to minimise the time spent scrolling through streaming services by providing human recommendations.

While Wona is still in its beta version, we are finalising the official version to be launched on May 1st.

Is this website Wona’s complete service?

No! This is not the final version. Our developers are still working on adding more features and functions, including different streaming platforms. Updates are coming thick and fast. Unfortunately the law requires that we let our development team have time off, so this slows the process. Any updates will be posted on our socials!

How can I contact customer support?

Is there a mobile app for Wona?

Our app is coming soon! It will be available on both Apple (iOS) and Android platforms. We are currently waiting for approval from the Apple gods 🙏

I’m creating a list and when I search for a movie, it doesn’t appear.

The Wona database doesn’t contain all TV shows and movies ever completed. After all there is a lot of junk out there that likely won’t make it onto a Wona list. We import items as required – over time this will create a decent database. From time-to-time you will find an item that isn’t on our database, but you can import it yourself. To do this, copy the web address from a streaming service or database and paste it into the “Add Entry” dialog box. This should import it. See here for a video on this process.
